At 23 I was stuck deep in the claws of heroin-, amphetamine- and everythingelse-addiction, all of which I got hooked on when I was 14. The year when I was 23 was the year I fucked up most of my life. I spent the years from 2013 (the year I was 23) until 2016 in and out of psychotic episodes. It was somehow the start of the end of my addiction, even though it took until somewhere between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 for me to get clean. So, no matter what happens, at least I'm clean now! That's the only thing that matters to me. Being clean and having an apartment, after having lived on the streets of Sweden and Norway for sooo long. My apartment is the most precious thing I have. It's not big, but I have a door I can lock and I can decide when and who gets to come in. That's massive when you've been a woman on the streets on and off for 10-12 years. You become a victim of so many horrible things. Well well, I've left that life behind me, but the complex PTSD and my other diagnoses will remain for the rest of my life. But at least I'm CLEAN! I'm lucky as all hell to be alive. So many of my friends didn't make it, or chose to end their misery. But I survived! That's so big to me - I SURVIVED! Well, peace and thank you for all the wonderful music you guys make. Music gives life meaning, and your music is just the BEST! Much love from this (somewhat) crazy Swedish woman, living in Norway! 💜
