In this linux tutorial , i will show you how to do a search in Linux VI editor. Vi is the default text editor in Linux and vi command allows you to open any text file for editing.
There are two vi modes like command mode and edit mode and you can do things like search and replace in vi editor. In this how to use vi editor tutorial , i will focus on search.
