As a catholic, I really appreciate the reverence with Omar and others address the profets in not just Quran but profets in the Bible too, with a peace be apon him attached. I will do the same when I speak of the profet Mohammed, peace be apon him!

The problem is not that the texts have been changed but the problem is that people interpreted them in ways that suited their wants and desires.

Lex is the first podcaster I've seen giving a platform for a Muslim to talk about the most controversial issues including the religion of Islam and the Israel apartheid. Mad props to him 👏

I memorised the quran when I was 13yrs and mind you Arabic isn't my mother language I did it b/c my parents were planed for me to memorise. after 10 yrs I understood why I'm muslim and everything made sense to me.

I'm memorising it again now but this time I'm enjoying the love of allah and his mercy. I can't thank enough my parents may allh be pleased with them, it is so easy for me now to memorise and enjoy the quran ❤

As a new revert to Islam; Omar Suleiman has helped me a lot in understanding Islam. If you want God to guide you, no matter where you are, He will.

I myself memorize the Quran without a single mistake since over 16 years! Great clip.

It would have been very informative if you discussed the Jewish and Muslim views on Ishmael and Isaac, and their relationship with Abraham.

One thing I have noticed among my muslim friends is, they all have this sense of helping others go to heaven which is by converting them to become a muslim.

I believe it is.
And im Christian.
I had a dream of the moon falling to earth with Arabic characters on each quarter 3 months ago and woke up hyperventilating almost in tears.
I’m just now learning that that was a sign for me to at least read the Holy Quran.
PS- I still have Bible to 😇

The amount of hateful comments on these videos is staggering. It appears that some individuals are choosing to blame their unhappiness on a specific group rather than taking the time to seek out the truth.

anyone get a count on how many times he said “Peace be Upon Him” in this clip?!?

I noticed that the negactive comments are all personal attacks instead of actual criticism

It’s easy to have intellectual conversations about islam in times of peace. But you get to know it better from within when they have total power over you and you can truly understand its nature, and when a sword helps you understand better what the words didn’t manage to convey to you. The Greek national history is full of so-called ethnomartyrs, who used to be decapitated by muslims because they refused to accept islam. And it happens even today in other parts of the world.

Simple answer. Yeah nah.
It's the writings of a cult leader who started off with little power and so /parotted/preached biblical morality, but pivoted to self‐serving "divine revelations" once he got a following.

The biggest strength of Islam in America is that no one has read it enough to dispute what these people are saying.

Honest question, is it egotistical for the human race to think we were chosen by a god as a species at a specific point in time when it is abundantly clear that we evolved to rationality due to environmental conditions?
