Slovakia’s Defiant Citizens Raise €5 Million for Ukraine Despite Government Refusal

In response to Prime Minister Robert Fico’s refusal to send military aid to Ukraine, Slovakian citizens launched a campaign, raising over five million euros for Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Meanwhile, mass protests continue across Slovakia demanding Fico’s resignation due to his pro-Russian policies and the country’s uncertain future within the EU.
