I’ve flown them before. I’ve actually flown in that exact plane before. It’s worth it when the price is right. You can sometimes find flights for only $99-$150 one way and it’s definitely worth it. The LAS terminal is one of the biggest terminals they have. It was the main terminal for the airline after all (now that has become Dallas where they’re main headquarters are). They emphasize the 20min pre arrival time bcuz they don’t want you sitting there forever with nothing to do haha.

You can also choose to not pay for a seat but you’ll be put in one that is randomly available. If it’s any consolation though the receptionists tend to fill the bigger (double depending on if it’s an older plane or not) seats first if they are available. I say if you’re flying alone don’t bother picking a seat. They almost never put you with a stranger. Half the planes don’t even have double seats, they have the tabled seats instead

I’ve flown a tabled seated plane as well. It was nice being in that big seat but I’m a small person so I didn’t care for it as much as someone else would.

Snacks and drinks are complimentary and bottomless so it’s a nice trade off for a max 2.5hr flight imo.

Some lounges are nicer than others and another nice bonus is that there is no restrictions to what you can bring on the plane in terms of food. A lot of people will show up with like in n out and just eat it on the plane. I had a nice big boba drink. Plus I was able to bring my makeup without worrying about liquid capacity so that was nice

All in all it’s worth it for the price if you care about comfort/convenience but if you care more about price then you may wanna go for a cheaper option. It’s only a 3hr flight so no one would blame you for flying for less

Hope this helps :)

I LOVE JSX! Let’s save JSX, please sign the petition to keep them around because jealous Southwest and American are trying to take them down.

My friend flies JSX from Dallas and loves them. I really appreciated your video and your comments afterwards and, like you, if the prices are pretty reasonable, we will definitely try it… anything to avoid the large airport hassle.

I've flown JSX between Austin, TX and Las Vegas the last three times to Vegas. I love it.

If you fly into Boulder CO JSX out of Broomfield is hugely convenient instead the dreaded DIA. I paid no seat fees on flight to PHX Sky harbor.

Flew JSX for the first time by accident. Ever since I loved it. In and out, no TSA, no long lines no dealing with lots of people .its expensive and well worth it for me. Spacious and yes its pretty private

I’m thinking of flying this next weekend from Houston to Dallas. $139 tickets, 45 min flight. Really just for the hell of it and it’s not much more expensive than Southwest

I love this. I have always loved flying but somewhat loathed the airport experience. This kinda cuts the middle man out. Love it!

It's great for business trips. Flew from Burbank to Oakland and it was great. I'd seriously consider using it for personal trips if they have a hub.

Can’t wait to fly them, and am super stoked that they taxi by the Janet planes there in white and red. So cool!

If you think about it, it's the long lines, dragging a bag thru long terminals and crowds that make travel time-consuming and exhausting, so when you can just walk up, jump on, then relax and watch the view. It's lovely. And yes, it's a bit more $, but how much am I worth an hour... :)

This is the only airline that I could find a reasonable cost for flying with medium-large pet dogs in cabin. With all major airlines only allowing service dogs (not even ESAs) you're limited on options for bringing fido. And the expedited boarding and low crowd experience is ideal for lowering travel stress with pets. I just wish they had a direct flight cross country. We are currently booked on two separate flights to hop-skip cross country— total cost is on par with a first class ticket on a major airline.

Thanks for the stellar flight report! One downside to the hangar experience: forfeit access to credit card lounges. Then again, the Centurion lounge at LAS is beyond appalling and SAN has sparse lounge offerings pending that Sapphire lounge opening.

I plan to fly JSX from Phoenix to Las Vegas round-trip in the next few months. I'm ready now but going through training at work. No more all day driving. JSX sounds like the way to go.

Did I miss it, but you never explained why it was better to sit on the left flying from Las Vegas to San Diego. Was it to see the Southwest Airline plane on the other strip? 😁

Nice view of the “Janet” 737s on your taxi out. They’re used to transport workers to Area 51 😁

JSX no longer flies to San Diego but has instead moved its operations to Carlsbad which is convenient if you live from LaJolla north to LaCosta. I’m hopeful that JSX can once again return to SAN as it’s a more logical choice for me
