the NDP is losing control of their housing plan here in BC. The two choices BC ers are going to have are to live in a corporate-owned rental building or pay alot more than today for freehold properties. I hear Ravi won't come back on TTSS to discuss.

It's really nobody can afford the Prices to buy, let be satisfy rents required by so-called 'investors' using leverage to buy.
Bottom line is this is a Debt based correction failing due to insufficient sevicing income potential(gdi) as derivable from within collapsing gdp into recession.... a consumer 'spending' reliant gdp I might add .... that was being maintained entirely by low-rate fueled speculative sentiment DEBT expansion injecting false demand into elevating Real Estate Prices in the first place.
LTV ratios will fall dramatically as so-called 'equity' evaporates.... you will NOT be as 'wealthy' as you thought you were moving forward.... and only your DEBT remains which make NO mistake you will satisfy or be out on your ear in order to manintain Banking/Financial system integrity.

Yes we got scammed for 25k a couple months ago with our driveway work. Ended up getting a second company to come fix it as we had no driveway. Then paid 50k on top. But the driveway is now done fully lights up and huge stones. *(looks like a 1million dollar driveway) It seems we always gotta pay 2-3 times to get the job done for anything with general contractors.
