HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

"Gross" but "amazing" sounds a bit like "fearfully and wonderfully made."

I feel bad for the dude being unable to enjoy cheese. I can't handle milk or ice cream too well, but cheese is still safe for me. Thus, I'd hate to have to go without it. ;)

LOL, visualizing this and the part where he told them what saliva was and them backing away thinking a drop of it might eat through the table - LOL, this would make a funny video or TV show. Still, with Agro Squirrels excellent narration and our imagination, we can make our own version in our heads. Human anatomy for aliens 101.

i do not know what it is when you are crying with laughter. Are those onion ninja attacks too? That is a new one got a headache from laughing so hard.

This is one of the stories that I'm pretty convinced could happen if we start to intermingle with other sentient beings, as Human genetic makeup has a few rare bodily functions (for example, sweat) that had helped us become the apex predator of the entire global ecosystem.

Then again, we've yet to even understand the basics of the existence of life, especially while we're stuck in this big ass boulder. So for all we know there's someone much more genetically aggressive than us.

Was an armor crewman for a bit in my soldier years...bad enough you stink after not being able to properly shower after a few days... even worse if you've got one crew member with particularly bad gas issues.
