Paul's incredible vocal versatility as a young man. Really amazing and the melody is so beautiful. Absolute classic.

And there's people that don't realize the importance of The Beatles for rock music. This is basically rock, GODDAMNIT!

I love this whole album, Abbey Road. They show their respect for blues and soul in this song! Paul really rocks this whole song!

It will blow our mind how many deep cut tracks are bangers as much as hit singles. About 95% of them. Very little throw away tracks. 211 song catalog in a 8 year window. 186 of those written by them. It's incredible.

Paul is the best. We’ll never see anyone like him again.

Another example of Ringo Star's brilliant percussion.

One week Paul came in every morning and sang this vocal intensely as he could in order to deliberately rough up the sound of his voice; it worked!

"Oh! Darling" is from the Beatles 1969 album "Abbey Road". It is full of great songs such as "Something", "Here Comes The Sun", "Come Together" etc.

The Beatles Now and Then is a masterwork. No money grab. Just a damn good performance.

Paul is the vocal chameleon in the band. He has like 4 distinct singing styles with varying timbre and range. For a sample of what they sound like, check out the following Beatles' songs:

* I've Got a Feeling - He and John go back and forth, but Paul reigns supreme
* Get Back - Paul intentionally made himself sound nasally here
* I Will - A lovely ballad and soothing vocals (hear the bass vocals)
* Helter Skelter - Many say this is the precursor to the heavy metal genre
* Lady Madonna - A little alto, a little rock
* Kansas City - He drew inspiration from Little Richards
* Honey Pie - Paul dreamt of writing show tunes
* Rocky Raccoon - Western movies tribute
* Why Don't We Do It in the Road - Pure rock
* You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) - A nice mashup of his vocal ability

I thank my older brothers and uncles for exposing me to The Beatles music when I was very young. Proud 38-year old Beatles fan.

This is a track that all four loved, as it harkened back to the 50's vibe of the music they grew up with. I didn't know this until the box set was released a few years ago, but this track features George Harrison on bass (McCartney on piano, Lennon guitar, and Ringo doing an outstanding job on drums).

On Abbey Road, side one, track 4, we have this awesome track with Paul McCartney singing his socks off, and with Ringo's superlative drumming. Then, on side two, we get The Abbey Road Medley. What an album.

Early on, the Beatles performed next to Little Richard, who taught Paul how to wail. Paul always wanted to show he could be a hard blues singer, since his voice was so melodic. one of his lesser known songs features that voice "Monkberry Delight" when he was with Wings

Love, love, love the Beatles!! Now, if you want to hear Paul tearing it up even more, listen to "Helter Skelter".
