CHANIA OLD TOWN WALKING TOUR & CRETAN WINERY

Chania Old Town is such a charming area. It has four quarters (Venetian, Jewish, Kasteli, and Turkish). In this vlog, we take you through the alleyways of each of the four areas. We also drive about 25 minutes away to Manousakis Winery to sample Cretan wine.

After arriving by ferry from Athens, we made it to the Greek island of Crete.

We started off the day by having breakfast at Papanikolakis. This place was so good that we went back almost every day we were in Chania. The owner was so kind and friendly.

We visited the 4 quarters of Chania. Wandering around the cute alleyways and taking a stroll along the old Venetian harbor area in Chania is a great way to spend the day. The four neighborhoods in Chania's old town are the Venetian Quarter, Jewish Quarter, Kasteli Quarter, and Turkish Quarter.

We ate lunch at Boheme. This restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area and good food.

After exploring Chania's Old Town, we drove to Manousakis Winery for a wine tasting. Our tasting included 5 wines. We really liked their red wine called Grenache.

Then our last stop of the day was at Funky's Pizza. This is a popular take away pizza place in Chania.

Ahh I miss Chania. I used to live there. 2:32 its a friends house ;) Its a small town. .. even though it looks like a city.. I agree it doesn't get much better than this actually... U name it. U are brave to drive a car in Chania ...
