You forgot to mention that we also need to bind "MOUSE_X" "Yaw" and bind "MOUSE_Y" "pitch" otherwise the mouse won't work in-game.

My friend was trying this and followed all of this exactly, but when he went to test it the bindings never switched over. He tied the "exec atuoexec" and reseting defaults, but it never ended up working for some reason. I dontknow why it isn't wotking for him since it worked first try for me, after many tries with him.

Tip:
I had some command to increase volume when shifting it was pretty cool but the new cs2 doesnt accept that but still executes it +incvol, so the shift sprint change was getting overwritten and my shift wouldnt work at all.
Remove the incvol command cause it doesnt work or add the shift sprint thing at the end cause it gets executed sequentially, and it remains empty not double bound if the second command works, cause you can still double bind keys at least good news for scrollwheel bhop and also jumping with space depending on situation

Followed these exact steps and it's not working for me. Even tried the manual command to execute it and still nothing. In my commands its attempting to execute it but it says the file isn't readable. Any help?

Hey dude i got one problem with CFG. Everytime i make some new changes in game like change HUD color, corsshair etc. After restarting game it will load CFG file and don't save any new settigns that i change. Any help with this?

Thank you very much. One weird thing, and I thought this tutorial was wrong at first, but my mouse sensitivity in the games "Menus" screen was super high, but in game it was normal which is weird.

I have a problem with CS2, when I launch my game, I have to reconfigure my settings each time, such as sensitivity, HUD or crosshair for example.
Do u know why ?

I use a keybind for purchasing and using a grenade, it'll buy it but wont equip it in hand.. is there a different value for that?

you can just make an autoexec with the commands u wish to add and put in in that last folder path u showed.

If I change settings in CS2, those apparently only save for the current session. As soon as I restart CS2, those saves are reset. Looking at nearly all of my config files, they aren't locked so how do I get to save my changes I've made ingame (especially about a key bind and the HUD)? Thanks for help in advance.
