I do not claim to be a political pundit but one cherished media personality once said way back that Sonko could one day actually be president of Kenya. At the time I laughed it of as sheer banter but looking back I regress and think she may have had a valid point to make. I challenge you to name 10 most popular (“influential” is a different ball game) politicians in Kenya and see where Sonko lies....I’m even tempted to narrow it down to 5 most popular politicians in Kenya!!!! So never count him out because surprisingly (maybe to some) he has substantial political weight behind him & that gives him some sort of leverage going forward.
