I wish the amount of fading embers you can get per week went up with paragon level. So that the higher lvl you are the more gems you can craft

The game is designed to gate your power progression but allows for unlimited amounts of spending money. Honestly the more I play the game the less desirable paying 2 win seems. I really think it’s best just to go through the motions and think of progressing your character inch by inch each day.

So we know the odds of the FA rune conversion and I converted these odds into something understandable. For a 2/5* you're looking at 1 in every 24 weeks. For a 3/5* it's 1 in 90 weeks (1.7 years), for a 4/5* it's 1 in 449 weeks (8.6 years), and for 5/5* it's 1 in 1796 weeks (or 34.5 years). So on average you'll get 2 2/5* gems, 13 2* gems, and 37 1* gems a year. Thankfully these can be sold on the market, and at conservative current rates you'd be looking at around 120450 platinum a year before taxes (so probably around 110k). If you're capping out your daily 300 platinum (109, 500/yr), that'd put you in the ballpark to purchase 1 5* gem off the market a year.

Edit: It's worth noting that you can do ~2.5 FA purchases a week for the guaranteed 1* gem. If you went this route and sold at an average of 850 platinum, you'd walk away with around 100k after taxes a year guaranteed (assuming prices don't drop over time, but if they do then so will the cost to buy so your buying power will remain).

Veiled Shot youtuber just posted a vid describing how 5 star gem resonance is going to ruin pvp. The improvement to your stats is not capped like combat rating is. Meaning whales will have +100% to their gear attributes, which is NOT capped in pvp. Basically, we’re all screwed

5 Star legendary gem meaning you have .005% to have a 5 Star , there are people Spending over 10K and dont even have 5/5 Legendary gem, I dont know Casey they way you are going you gone to the dark side in a fast way by ignoring Everything Around the P2W, You have 36K subs you can maybee afford to pay for the game with your youtube revenue but a lot of your subs Can't and are dropping what ever money they have in that crap game !!!

you have to pick and choose what u want to do as f2p save up for a decent 3star which will be 50-80k plat or use the plat to upgrade your gems and use fa runes for a chance at a good gem

As FTP you are better off going for 3 or 4 x 2 Star gems and upgrading them.

You will get faster CR and resonance progression that way.

I think as a F2P 1 star is the most efficient way to go at first cause they’re cheaper to rank up. 5 star is just unreasonable.

If the game was fo used on single player this would be amazing, everyone would have a different experience, but you are forced to join to other people.
Other players kick you from party for not placing p2w crest, in pvp u get destroyed by whales 8/10 times.
They really know how to make you feel useless, but guess what? They are very kind showing you the store every time they can, just getting dayli rewards blast you with options to spend money.
When are you going to match people who pay to win? How is it fair?
Again, if I was able to enjoy the game alone that would be awesome, I would grind here and there, but, dude, be honest at least, f2p players have no chance to get anywhere
