My first Schumacher was an SST 99’ sedan. I got to know Robin while he was in Florida and that’s a big part of why I’ve only raced Schumacher cars since then. He is an ethical and honest gentleman.

Great interview - I started off in RC in the early '90's with a ProCat which was awesome. After a long break I'm back racing 1/8 nitro buggys, I'd love to see Schumacher launch a model to compete in that class.

It’s not just Orlowski, Champlin in the states has been hugely influential and important to the brand too, so be good to probe further into the US market, how do they find the difference between the US market and the UK market etc. also, be interesting to here his thoughts on this years worlds being on a traditional dirt track.

Great questions and answers. My answer is a Mission Mi v3 upgraded, maybe with BL motor, esc, no radio but economical. And upgrades available. The SV1 was massively high quality and cheap if you ask me.

What you should try to do is do history's on some of the Brands that were big but no longer here. Engine brands like OPS, K&B, car brands like PB Racing, Delta Even Serpent and some of the other french and italian brands. Many of these pioneered cars of today and the people involved are starting to get on a bit so sooner the better. I remember when I first started pan cars it wasnt uncommon to have 5 different makes of car in a race and as many different engines. These were also very different from each other.
