It's probably the same reason it took me so long to play splat dualies (now my main). It just takes skill to aim and do well with it compared to alternatives that'll feel more consistent at different skill levels.

As a charger main, all I'm hearing is the long range S-Blast is the blaster's equivalent to a charger

Range Blaster: Less range than Rapid Blaster
Rapid Blaster: Slower than the clash blaster
S-Blast: Small blast radius on long range mode

Damn, would it hurt the developers to make the long range s blast blast radius 2.7 so that it could be better?

I never thought reg blaster and the two rapids had the same aoe size

It has close and long range shots and a fast projectile speed. For me this makes it the best blaster even if it’s slower to fire. Just play more carefully and use a burst bomb where needed to soften the issue. While top tier players can probably feel the effects of that slower firing speed, outside of the top 5% most people aren’t exploiting that downtime fast enough for it to matter, so for S rank and below I think it’s just the best blaster.
