Glad you mentioned the TCI/ABN Amro/RBS thing, even if it was in passing. The man we have had as chancellor, and now PM, was part of a team who were directly responsible for at least one of the chain of events that led to the 2008 global financial meltdown. It's also worth mentioning that some people, Sunak included, at TCI profited to the tune of £100 million off the back of 2008.

What I find amazing is that the British people only seem to find out who the PM is after they already have them in No.10. Maybe people should do some research before it happens? And yes, I know they didn’t vote for Rishi but they did vote for Boris and everything since flows from that.

Don't know why Rishi wanted to be PM of a failing country.Being of Asian origin he will get more flak for any problems that arise than a ' Gora saheb'.Heard some fellow on a radio talk, a Tory MP I think, saying that Boris loved Britain and therefore would be a better PM but for Rishi it is not possible to love Britain, so he wouldn't be a good PM!!! As far as I know he was born and brought up in Britain.Maybe I'm wrong.
Also it's better Rishi's wife buys a very cheap tea set to serve tea to reporters so as not to offend them this time.
