When I saw this pop up I couldn't wait to see your reaction. Most reactors do some other songs from them and this one not as much, although it's one of my favorites of theirs. I knew you would have a good reaction to them, they are just a killer band, and most of what they do live is just as good as their studio stuff. Without a doubt take a look at Next to You, Rock You and Work Shit Out if you want to be stunned. Oh, and before I forget their version of Thriller is probably the best ever cover of that song they do along with Cory Wong and his brass band. They also collaborate on a song called Follow the Light very well.

I just love to see someone discover Dirty Loops for the first time and have their mind blown. Thanks for that! They started the group as a hobby project in 2008, as they were a bit bored with the restrictions that comes with working as a session musician, and wanted a place where they could try all their own ideas out, and they never thought it would be anything other than that. At that point Jonah had never sung lead and didn't even know if he could, even though he'd sung in choirs (mostly chamber choir style) his whole life. In 2010 they put up a video on youtube (a cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance"), as a booking reference, to see if they could get a gig or two, just for fun, as they thought their music was way too unsexy for anyone to actually like it. Needless to say, they were completely wrong. The video went viral and a LOT of people absolutely loved it. If you want to check out more of them, you could more or less pick a song at random on their channel, and you most likely would not be disappointed. Everything they've ever released is of this ridiculous musical quality, and they're just as good live. Saw them at a small outdoors jazz festival in northern Sweden last year, and I'm still on a musical high from that concert. It was stupendous!

Thanks Sal - it is so gratifying to see someone discover DL for the first time. I adore them. These guys are musicians personified. I can see you are loving this one. Please react to Next To You, it will probably blow your mind. They take you on a journey and you'll see what monsters these guys are. Henrik on the bass is an absolute animal, and Aron on the drums as well. One mind-blowing thing about Next To You is that Jonah is doing all the vocals, and I mean ALL. The choirs and everything.

Another great song that you can react to is Follow The Light, where you'll see Henrik being a beast on the bass.
