The Philippine’s $3.9BN Bridge across Manila Bay

The Philippines is going to build a 32 kilometer long bridge across Manila Bay, uniting the provinces of Bataan and Cavite. It will include 4 highway lanes and 2 cable-stayed spans, stretching 900 and 400 meters each, allowing large ships to reach the Port of Manila while cutting travel distances by 60%.

Considering majority of the politicians will milk on it’s budget. Fact, they will built 30% of the bridge and declare it as 100% completed. That is how Philippine politicians do in the Philippines.
