So anyways, here are the 5 best Vivobarefoot shoes for Winter and Fall - hiking, city life, or whatever else.

Of course, I wouldn't quite recommend these for serious Arctic-level expeditions, however all these barefoot hiking shoes should be fine in the winter provided you have some nice merino wool socks on!

Shoes features in the video:

Vivobarefoot Primus Trail 2 All-weather (winter)
Vivobarefoot Magna FG (Leather & wool)
Vivobarefoot Tracker FG
Vivobarefoot Tracker Forest FG
Vivobarefoot Tracker Snow
Feelmax Kuuva

I have the Hykes Summit barefoot boots and love them.

Saw this video before I purchased my magna FG, I went with the wool version and it was so worth it.
Had to find a replacement for my low top primus trails which saw miles and miles of harsh conditions.
I didn’t wanna go with the full sized boot that are the trackers and the magnas are just perfect .
From the trail straight to the city and they blend right in and feel so comfy regardless of terrain..

Will you get, use and review the Magna FG leather and wool version? Looking forward to such a review from you.

I live in England and theres a good bit of rain and wet ground. I run mostly on track/asphalt, but also lift weights (squats/deadlift). Which design would be best for me in your opinion? The lite or the trail or what? Anything would be much appreciated, love your content!

Keep up the good work! A little story in return for a good video:) I have decided to go as minimal as possible and have only two pairs of barefoot (and at all) shoes. So for warmer weather ive got earth runners adventure (thinnest), and now am looking for best winter shoes. And this is going to be complicated because i will have to go back to mother Russia at some point to visit my friends and family and there is going to be a lot of snow, but now i'm in not so severe (even warm) France and it's kind of hard to choose. I'm thinking about Tracker II but the Alweather Tracker FG looks more convincible (but uglier). If you will ever read this comment, consider answering. Peace)))

Have you tried the Magna Trail II FG (2021)? Is there any difference you can tell in contrast to the previous version (2019)? Really appreciate your work! 🙏

Its been a while and i dont know how old any of the shoes are, but i wonder what would be best for winter in norway. Down to -20 c and icy, (i dont struggle with cold feet so its not really that bad..) and up to 0c or more, with slushy everywhere and icy underneight. I have to note that I want to use these maybe in the mountains or forest in early spring and autumn too. Last year i just used my altra forest shoes all winter, but since i am buying proper winter shoes now i want to buy correct. Also, I cant find my altras, which has me left with altra escalante (like regular joggers) and very thin small vivo shoes.. Which works horribly tbh. I miss shoes i can play with in the snow but use everywhere, when i´m first out..

So! I am maybe thinking the forest ESC Magna, tracker ii FG, or maybe Tracker decon.. I havent found tracker SG here. Hard choice! I want them to last long and be comfortable. I havent owned sock shoes before and i am not really too fan of too high shoes.. sneaker vibes are cool tho. Thank you in advance if you have any insight!!

It looks like vivo just released a Tracker All Weather SG. Take a look and let me know your thoughts? Just moved to Minnesota and trying to find a good barefoot boot for hiking in winter out here.

Hey James! I’m not sure where to start with Vivobarefoot

I spend most of my time outdoors, whether it’s winter or summer. I train outdoors (futsal/football on Astro-Artificial Turf), perform all gym sessions outdoors, and go for runs, hikes, and sprints on tar floors (sometimes trail running). When training in the gym (grass floor) I tend to be barefoot most of the time, but I’m looking for a Vivobarefoot shoe that I could wear when playing football & running on hard surfaces (mainly for summer use) as I can’t do those barefoot. I’ve never worn barefoot shoes and my feet are very strong.
I want something that helps with gripping the ball for example & good for agility training. Also, when winter comes I think I’ll buy the Magna Trail II. What’re your thoughts?

Right now the trail styles available on their site are Primus Trail II FG, Primus Trail II All Weather, MAGNA TRAIL II (which i think is better for winter?), and PRIMUS TRAIL KNIT FG. Are there better styles? If not which one should I go for?

at 0:15, I got the impression you would do an informative overview on what shoes fitted where. The only and closest you came to that, where the last ones, made in findland. Which you out of the origin country, think are better for actual winter, than anyone else. What you call winter, fall, summer, autumn, well that needs to be cleared up in advance of what you where trying to do. Despite this, I did get to see various shoes, what I am also looking for, without browsing thousands of websites.

My Vivo's started to delaminate after my first walk. Would not get close to that brand ever anytime soon.
