When I hold down the button on the case the light will only light up green for like 3 seconds

Make sure you install the latest software update on your phone…AirPod info popped right up. Finally :)

Mine does do all of that but the only thing is that it says it’s connected and everything but I’m still using my phone volume and using the phone the way it is

Fixed, for people who pressed “Forget device” Go to bluetooth settings and Hold down the pair button close to the phone while the lid is up, The chargingg thing is bs.
