My mum does the same! It might be the same amount of chicken but visually, it looks bigger so instead of thawing 2 cutlets, you thaw 1 and it’s still enough for the whole family. We save money on groceries and also prevent wastage. 👍🏻

My mother is a pensioner and has also lived through some very challenging financial times as a single parent. With careful slicing, a slight flattening with the rolling pin and crumbing- she can get 3 servings of chicken snitzel out of every chicken breast. 😊

What a great idea. Not only will it cook quicker and more evenly but it also make it easier to take smaller bites and let’s you feel like you are eating more…which will allow your brain time to catch up with your stomach and make it less likely you will over eat. I’m going to try this tomorrow

Thats a great idea!
I dip each tender (or flattened whole breast) in beaten egg, then crushed French's fried onions. Bake at 400° for ~20 minutes or until onion coating is golden brown. YW 😊

I like to make easy yummy rice and chicken casserole. One cup rice, cream of chicken soup. (or cream of whatever I have) brown chicken in butter. Soup, water or chicken bullion to consistency of gravy over rice. Chickrn on top. Bake until rice done. Easy recipe. I pour excess butter from browning over top before baking. Also add pepped and even can of peas sometimes. I use what I have in anything I make.

It's still the same amount of weight though. I wouldn't call that a hack. And parchment paper is soooo expensive it's really not worth doing that.
