In this video that is most definitely not from a year ago shut up fools, we get some very juicy snippets of lore between Pastel and Riley which i am more than happy to interpret. Judging from the lyrics Pastel and Riley had a very good relationship until when the lyrics "But then i'd have to dig out your body" which cuts to pastel covered in blood and pans over to a house on fire, which i believe that Pastel must have lost control over 3 and killed Riley in his house while right when she gets control back and is outside of the house she sees herself covered in the blood of her best friend while she sees the scaring image of Riley's house burning into ash in front of her while his body is still inside. Traumatized by what she had witnessed, Pastel walks towards the iconic tree and scenario we all know and love with regret of what had happened. I'd also like to point out a small detail at 0:24 for anyone else who hasn't see this detail but you cant see Pastel's heart shaped pupils cracking ever so slowly at the bottom, as she then with grief and trauma in her eyes stares into the beautiful sunset and complements the scenery around her. Of course this was what i interpreted from the video so i could always be wrong or have missed something in the video!! Regardless another wonderful and stunning video from such a talented artist that we all know and love called Quartelz, love you sm bestie keep up with the amazing work <3
