The 2 Hyperion books really do work well as a unit if you need conclusions, but they are also very different. Fall of Hyperion drops some of the literary trappings and works more like the space sci-fi you might expect. I really enjoyed it.

Something else coming out is a new hardcover edition, finally, of The Last Unicorn put out by Gollancz.

I can't believe we're already talking about August... May-July flew by WAY too fast 😫
I can't wait to see the discussions on Hyperion! I'm sure some won't be fans of Fall of Hyperion, but I loved it. My advice is to keep an open mind and don't hold expectations. The story goes in directions one may not expect, and it gets definitely gets weird 😀

Hyperion!! Awesome!! I would recommend you stop at book 2 of the series as they already give a satisfying conclusion
