This statue cost 100 crores not 3000, the forest which you see around the statue were planted to promote eco tourism before there were only wild grass because of scarcity of water, they build a water body preserver of 15lakh litres of water ( Rain water harvesting ) . There are many outdoor activities, and natural caves which were converteded into Ayurveda shala ( Ayurvedic spa ) . It is the best statue in the country so far..

Total project cost 100cr, completely pvt funded... after 30 yr it will bcm a govt property. Imagine the value of the total project that time... without spending a single penny how the govt is produced an income generating project worth thousands of crs.
