After Effects CS6: How To Export Video as H.264 (Enable and Render in MP4 Format)

This video is for helping you all install h.264 video codec and format if you haven't got it. This is an MP4 format that is really good for rendering and exports videos in a very high quality. VBR and CBR depending on your preference. I will also show you how to enable it if you can't see it in the options. This video includes the QuickTime application.

Newer versions of after effects don't have the h.264 option because they moved it over to their media encoder. I got my option on CS6 using that tick box method that I talked about in the video but that option may no longer exist

I didn't have the "Show deprecated format" option and there's still no H264 option.

When I change the AVI to quick time then I goto format option then I go to animation, there I can not find H.264 !!!
It is not exist over there!

can someone plz help me my ae project is finished and now i cant render it when i use render it gives me 53gb file but my project is 5 minute's also all the files used in it is less than 5gb so why it wont let me render it and even when it start's to render it stuck in 18 sec when i decrease the composition time to 1 minute it rendered one 11gb file successfully but its still a problem
