She did absolutely well the entire game but her screams during that part when Hugo was taken by Nicholas. Wow!

Charlotte's performance carries the game tbh, she puts so much charm and personality into her deliveries. Shout-out the writers too because the dialogue is surprisingly excellent for a video game. The characters feel and behave like real people, to the degree the plot allows them. The genre of teen fiction is a minefield of contrivances and cliche and yet this game manages to strike a simple authenticity.

I loved the dialog between Amicia and her little brother. I felt like you were really talking to someone you loved and cared about. I remarked to my friends about it. So sweet. Well done!

In my opinion it wasn't that she lost the emotion, the strongest point of the character was that Amicia remains emotional even if those emotions become more and more negative.
She's not a warrior, she's a girl who was thrust into a violent and unforgiving bloodbath and now must do whatever it takes to save herself, and 5-year old brother. And that's what makes her such a great character. It's not the literal slings and arrows that she lobs into bad-guy-brains, it's the fact that she's a teenage girl who loves books and stories, and playing games with her father and brother, and just wants to go back to that, but cannot. It's not a tale of a hero, it's a tragedy.

And whether that was her intention or not, Charlotte sold that brilliantly.

I'm playing the game right now, I think I'm at the final chapter... Fantastic story, atmosphere, the voice acting is top notch, the music is great as well. All around a well made game and I truly hope Asobo will not stop on making games such as this one, and it's not actually a game, this is a movie basically, great job!

I'm too young to play this game but I do anyway 🙁
It's so sad but I love how Hugo gives little sweet moments. The thing about how there's a flower in every chapter if you just look is so sweet.
Charlotte, you're so talented I literally felt your screaming in that dream chapter when you saw Hugo and Lord Nicolas, it like literally made me cry a little.
Also I love how the game is realistic with how everything the characters do and see effects them. Like when Amicia had her first kill, the game did well to make me feel so bleeping bad about it. "I didn't want to", no seriously ! I didn't want to, and it was obvious Amicia didn't want to either.
And the thing with the guards back at the De Rune estate when Amicia and Lucas were looking for the elixir, I felt sooo uncomfortable because I thought that the only way to get past was to kill those guards (Even though I REALLY DID NOT like them AT ALL, they were horrible), I also just didn't want to kill them. Anyway, I managed to complete the entire game with barely killing and only using it as a last resort if I absaloutely needed to.
But yes, the game is so good because that's literally Amicias mindset, she hates the fact that killing is a potential necessity and it shows so well through her actions, expressions, and voice.
