Iam now 43, have only one child, and had a double mastectomy as well. Unfortunately my breast reconstruction was not successful because I had both chemotherapy and radiation done due to my aggressive type of breast cancer. Though I hate looking at myself in mirror everyday, I remind myself that iam HERE. 🎀💪

If I had to have my breasts removed, I would be very tempted to just have a smooth chest. They don't define me and for those women not wanting implants, I can see how she was upset that she had to get them.

No pity here, Olivia. I am on hospice dying from fourth stage cancer. If I could had a life saving surgery, I could care less about how my breasts looked. Funny, you went through all of this with cancer, but it doesn’t seem that you learned much more about life.
