Oh wait.. the same process by which stars form are the same mechanistic process for galaxy formation. So this isn't proof the big bang is wrong.
Science is simply conservative, so previously we never saw galaxies so old, THUS we thought that galaxies took longer to form. Now we know that there was no barrier to galactic formation far earlier since it just requires gravity and mass, which is consistent with star formation too.

Get better arguments people.
