Ankara is le capital of Turkey. I think they moved it to Ankara to disassociate with the ottoman capital after they reformed into the republic.

0:58 como un netamente Mexicano te podré decir que si, los carteles tienen una influencia inmensa en muchos aspectos de la vida. Sin embargo, dependiendo de donde vives y cómo vives puedes vivir una vida normal y tranquila aquí. Está muy fea la situación si, pero si no te metes a los carteles ni tener nada que ver con ellos entonces es improbable que sufras algo de daño. Más aparte, vivo en el Norte y como pudiste ver en el mapa la mayoría de los políticas asesinados son del Sur. Solo debes tener mucho cuidado con que haces pero México es un buen país para vivir si haces las cosas correctamente.

Well, from what I know, the fact they didn't take Istanbul as Türkiye's/Turkey's capital is because of their history when Constantinople the capital was of the back then, Ottoman Empire etc. Strategically, the place today would be more vulnerable to be the capital as countries are now closer by and attacking a capital can 'deal' significantly more damage to the country. Although, yes, it is still an important place for the global economy, more specifically the trade between countries.
