New York Gov. Cuomo holds a briefing on the coronavirus outbreak - 4/24/2020

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is holding his daily press conference on the Covid-19 outbreak, which has infected more than 263,400 people across the state, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. On Thursday, Cuomo said an estimated 13.9% of the New Yorkers have likely had Covid-19, according to preliminary results of coronavirus antibody testing. The state randomly tested 3,000 people at grocery stores and shopping locations across 19 counties in 40 localities to see if they had the antibodies to fight the coronavirus, indicating they have had the virus and recovered from it, Cuomo said.

I know this sounds repetitive, but I love this man. When I listen to the Governor I hear the voice of my marvelous Italian grandmother. She too was tough, but oh so kind and oh so talented! She was famous in the tiny Illinois coal mining town where she raised her 6 children and attended to Pasquale... my Papa, the guy designated by his fellow miners to wear the yellow canary on his helmet into the darkness. Marietta, my Nonna, was a familiar figure in town, at 8 am, rosary in hand, headed to daily Mass at 8 am.. I hear their values come through in the words of Andrew Cuomo. He makes my day, everyday. Applauding Cuomo from Tn. Have been closely watching and we need more leaders in this country lke Cuomo. I live on the tn ga border and theyre opening up depsite the guidlines.
