We took the 2022 Lexus LC 500 Convertible up to central New Jersey for a road rally, the perfect place to let the big 5.0L V8 *sing* with the roof down! No, the 2022 LC 500 Convertible isn't the sportiest thing – nor is it trying to be. It is art on wheels and is a fabulous GT car that can be hustled relatively quickly should you feel the desire.

The performance pack coupe with the more sporty bits like rear wheel steering and the lighter weight really turn this into more of a sporty GT than the soft convertible. I highly recommend that version!

Awe man....when it warms up, please request this car again! The radio noise and the missing windscreen ruined the driving portion of the drive, I had to skip past it. 😞 The rest of the review, very cool.

Audio while you're driving was horrible

You might "love it", the trackpad that is, if you understood why it's there. You would understand why it's there had you read the "Owner's Manual" like a real adult who wants to become familiar with a very complex, high-tech product. At that point, the infotainment system and the proper way to use it would have been clear. Next time, try doing this with future reviews. Here's what you missed and it's so sad that you did. The trackpad is primarily there so you can run MENU/SETUP and select all your PERSONAL PREFERENCES which is Job One. It does take some time to go through all the different sub-menus, options and choices. Such things as doors, lights, AC, Nav, Bluetooth, Audio, radio and presets etc. are among the choices. Having done that, you would have then read about "VOICE COMMAND". Figure about an hour or less to become familiar with this. Now, you're ready! Instead of fiddling with the trackpad or a greasy, dirty, oily, smudgy and scratched TOUCH SCREEN and instead of having to take your eyes off the road, you can now simply TALK TO THE CAR. Yep! Tell the car what you want to do and it will do almost anything you can think of. It will change audio selections, play your favorite music, change radio stations, call your wife, text your client, find a pizza joint, address or hospital or anything else. It will make the car warmer or cooler. It does almost everything and the few things it doesn't do, it almost does, and it gets you directly to the screen where you simply slide your fingers up or down a bit. Actually, it's a WONDERFUL SYSTEM for adults. For immature, know-it-alls, it's bothersome because they assume Lexus screwed up. Having had the pleasure of owning my 2018 InfraRed Coupe for just shy of four years, I can tell you...as an adult...this is truly a SUPERCAR in every sense of the word. It does EVERYTHING IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO and it does it very well. In four years there hasn't been one single problem with any part of the car. The best part of owning a Lexus LC 500 is it won't leave you stranded by the side of the road. I'm hoping, instead of getting upset with me, you take the time on your next review to give a fair and honest opinion AFTER you've done your job. The manufacturer loaned this car to you assuming you would have done that. Any moron can hop in a car and go drive it. Shouldn't a "reviewer" learn all about the car, what it can and can't do ... and then give an honest opinion. That seems FAIR to me.

I'm sure this is a fine automobile, but the front end is hideous and there are hundreds of cars I would choose before this one. Lousy value too...
