The Corsair was such a awesome plane!!!

There’s a reason these were relegated to land based use only. The cockpit was too far back for good landing visibility so the aviators had to do a complex turn on final to a carrier.

For people wondering that’s not gas spraying out of the fighter it’s the carriers deck crew soaking the plane in water to prevent it from catching on fire
