Tacoma Solid Axle Swap [Part 2]

Solid Axle Swap on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4.

Swapping to the rear sump oil pan, pickup tube, dipstick assembly and plugging the original dipstick.

Instead of screwing around tying wires and hoses, removing motor mount, could have drilled your dipstick hole from the bottom after removing oil pan.

On last bolt for inspection cover, cut some threads off and leave enough to fit in and thread in a little.

Is touching the engine or transmission necessary when I’m doing a solid axle swap on mine?

Could you just flip the original oil pan around? Please explain why or why not.

According to TG installation guide, you could have just cut 1/8" off stock dipstick and left it. I should have went to JY to buy my oil pan tho, would have saved me $300. Lol good video though. Ill be doing an sas on mine soon too
