Here is a suggestion:
Pretend that you don't speak their language. Then initiate some sort of physical contact (a handshake or a hug). Then tell them that something is different. That you feel different. Like you know them a little better because of the handshake. Start speaking their language a little bit. Initiate more contact. Improve your fluency. And become fluent in like 3 to 4 minutes. And watch their reaction :)
