It's crazy how our due dates were 10 days apart and yet your baby is 4 months old and my baby is 2 months old! I was overdue. I'm so glad your baby is happy and healthy :)

I'm not a mom, but I've always heard that pumping in insanely draining and very time consuming, so GOOD FOR YOU for sticking with it! Brody is absolutely gorgeous ... he is wonderful proof that vegan babies can be happy and healthy.

I exclusively pump too and it's most definitely a labor of love! I tried so hard to make breastfeeding work for me and my baby, but she just had so many latching issues. After 3 months of struggles, I decided to take the pumping route. I can totally relate when you say breastfeeding was making you feel depressed! I felt some grief giving up breastfeeding but we're both a lot happier now! You have to do what's best for you and your baby. You're an awesome mama!

I give you credit for pumping, I breast feed and I try to pump but I find it difficult, so I give you 100% props! You have to do what works for you. Thanks so much for sharing!

Totally agree with you that people need to be more open to pumping especially lactation consultants and doctors. I pumped exclusively for 15 months. Everyone told me i would have no milk around 8 weeks if I only pumped lol

I used the sleep sense program too, my 4.5 month old daughter now sleeps 12-13hours straight at night, she was only sleeping 3-4hours at a time before starting the program. So worth it!! :)

Keep pumping!!! Pump once or twice at night. I did for 13 months. I'm vegan and nursing twins now. That is easier, actually. Pumping is work, and so amazing.You ARE breastfeeding and it's beautiful and you're an incredible mama❤️ Even if you wean off the pump, you're so awesome for doing this as long as you have!
