conditional finality seems like it would be really fun to work into a prismatic build

Even before watching this video, I have a Stag build in mind:

Super: Song of Flame or Needlestorm
Rift: Healing
Melee: Incinerator Snap
Grenade: Threadling
Aspects: Helion & Weaver's Call
Fragments: Facet of Dawn, Facet of Hope, & Facet of Purpose (+1 TBD)

Kinetic: Navigator
Special: Acasia's Dejection (crafted)
Heavy: Koraxis's Distress (crafted) or Briar's Contempt (crafted)

Armor: The Stag

Point is to drop as many rifts as possible as quickly as possible. Now that Weaver's Call is going to be generating perched threadlings just for having the aspect equipped, you'll get even more threadlings. Every time you drop a rift, you're sending out threadlings and creating a solar soul. With Paracausal affinity on Acasia's and your heavy, you're getting bonus damage just for killing stuff. Kill stuff with either strand or solar to build up your Transcendant meter. Acasia's and your heavy get bonus damage just for being from the same set as their origin trait. Your aspects will help you get your rift back quickly and since Navigator gives you free woven mail just for shooting enemies, your bonus class ability uptime is practically free. Your threadling and solar soul kills will trigger paracausal affinity as well as filling your transcendent meter without even having to fire a weapon. The Stag gives you DR for being in your rifts and grants rift energy when you take damage. I would also put Bolstering Detonation, Focusing Strike, and potentially Heavy Handed on my gloves so any melee or grenade damage dealt also gives rift energy.

The only potential downfall I see at the moment is running double special and not knowing what the ammo economy will be like. Other exotic options could be Quicksilver or Vex Mythoclast but with Vex, you start to lose out on the origin trait damage bonus.

I cant wait to play test this

I've been cooking up a Prismatic Warlock build utilising Felwinter's Helm and Buried Bloodline. Buried Bloodline will grant me Devour, allowing me to go for the aspects Lightning Surge and Bleak Watcher.

Arcane Needle triples my Lightning Surge uptime, making it really easy to debuff, blind and jolt big groups of enemies. Bleak Watcher is great for additional crowd control with the added benefit of extra melee damage against frozen targets.

These fragments will elevate this build to insane levels:

Facet of Balance - Buried Bloodline and Lightning Surge kills return melee energy. A Strand primary like Rufus' Fury grants grenade energy. Add Demolitionist and Devour to triple dip and throw loads of Stasis Turrets.

Facet of Bravery - Getting a grenade kill with either your regular grenade or your turret will grant Buried Bloodline Volatile Rounds. Melee kills will also grant Rufus' Fury Unraveling Rounds.

Facet of Dawn - Powered melee hits and kills grant Radiant. This is easy extra damage for you and your fireteam, since we will be getting a lot of melee kills.

Facet of Protection - Being surrounded adds damage resistance, making sliding in with Lightning Surge less risky.

Facet of Purpose - The Heavy Handed mod gives us an orb of power after a melee kill. Picking up this orb grants Woven Mail, reducing the risk of dying while playing aggressively even more.

If you get access to six fragment slots Facet of Command could be insane for DPS. Reloading your equipped weapon on a freeze with a Stasis Turret out might ensure you never have to reload ever again.

Extremely hyped for this build. Going to unlock these as soon as it is possible. The steady flow of both Light and Dark damage might even get your Transcendance up really fast.

What do you guys think?

I'm so glad I spent the last year making builds are built around the principle of "I want the build to do a thing, then put pieces together that help to do that thing". Prismatic is now just a cool box of gizmos and doohickys for me to play about with, instead of a daunting wall of overcomplicated crap my mates make it out to be.

"kinetic weapons charge both light and dark meter at once" me with a showrunner with kinetic tremors: HELL YEA!

I am a titan main.
If i pick up Final Shape, my prismatic build is going to be Actium War Rig and Sweet Business.
All other details are secondary.
Transcendence goes

I'm cooking up a Unbreakable+Diamond Lance Titan build that's either going to use Cadmus Ridge or Second Chance. I want to be a walking arsenal giving all my teammates weapons and tanking hits. Stasis and Void are my two favorite titan subclasses so I cannot wait for final shape to drop to be able to mix them!

Edit: Did you all know that Ruinous Effigy Orbs insta shatter crystals? : ^)

I'm planning to rock this Prismatic Warlock build

Super: Needlestorm
Class ability: Phoenix dive
Melee: Arcane needle
Grenade: Vortex Grenade
Aspects: Feed the void & Electric surge
Jump: Might lean towards Blink

Fragments: Facet of Balance, Bravery, Dominance, Honor, and Awakening

Armor: Mataiodoxia

Kinetic: Mountaintop
Special: Hollow's Denial or The recluse or Ros Arago IV, all with repulsor brace
Heavy: Dragon's Breath

Gameplay Loop: Start with using arcane needle on one enemy which when killed, it will create a tangle and suspend enemies around. Shoot tangle to proc honor for darkness transcendence energy. While tangle is on cooldown, go blinkity blinkity with electric surge for add clears with grenade kills proccing Bravery for volatile rounds. Both will help charge up Light transcendence enemies. Arcane needle to spread unravels when needed or if needed to play range. Awakening will provide void breach, tangles, and ionic traces from your void, arc, and strand kills which helps with Facet of honor.

With Mataiodoxia and facet of Balance, you will be spamming a lot of melees. Devour ensures you'll be spamming more grenades and having a lot of survivability alongside repulsor brace from volatile rounds. Double specials shouldn't be a problem since you will be using abilities more often. Mataidoxia allows us to cover all champions from their melees alone. With repulsor brace and the added dr in PvE from electric surge, it should be safer to use the slide melee. I do find Prismatic making a use of slide melee way better than arclock.

Outbreak Perfected is gonna be so much fun with Prismatic

One interesting thing I noticed about the fragments is that there's only a couple options that directly feed into ability energy. Which will subtly get ya to rely more on weapons to keep the loops going. Neat!

Vortex nade + arcane needle

Feed the void + whatever will sound the most fun to pair this with

Super - don't know, probably needlestorm

Mataidoxia - suspend with needles

Void primary, strand special

Facet of courage + facet of solitude (sever debuff applies bonus damage to primary and vortex nades), facet of sacrifice (feed the void - devour), facet of devotion (sever from precision hits, suspend from needles)

Can't wait, this all sounds so fun!

For probably the first time since I first played D1, I'm gonna have a big decision to make on what character to log first.

He had to have left out Outbreak Perfected on purpose. Because that’s immediately the first weapon that comes to mind as an add clearing transcendence ability-gaining machine.

It might be changed as time goes on, but I really feel like Prismatic need a couple more options from some of the other subclasses, particularly grenades and melees. It feels odd that hunters don't get tripmine grenades etc. I like what I've seen so far, and I understand Bungie wants to make use of some of the less used options, but they weren't used for a reason, they don't feel as good lol.

I like how they went "yeah some of these aspects dont get used as much, but what if we combined them" and i love that. As someone who is always using the wierd off meta stuff it is pretty cool to see the stuff i like to use get a little glow up with some cool combos

Even before this video I decided to get gunpowder gamble and build around it. Add acrobat’s leap for fun I never used I before, pair up with grapple for movement and a shuriken for two charges. As soon as I knew what the traveler’s chosen can do, I knew I would use it. Storm’s Edge super looks cool, so sticking to new decided ascension for second aspect
