About the gate: If you mount a wheel on the latch side of the gate, it will relieve the pressure on the hinge side, as well as allow the gate to open more smoothly.

For those wondering: ERV stands for Energy Recovery Ventilator, and is regularly referred to as an air exchanger and an ERV ventilation system. They pull fresh, clean air into the building and take out stale/unclean air.

When moving the "cabin" up to the property, I'd move it up there in cold (kissing below freezing) stretch of dry weather as the gravel road base will be more solid beneath. You can always re-position it later to a final location once utilities are setup and a spot groomed to put it. Lesson I learned long ago by waiting until Spring and sinking a heavy trailered shipping container after warm weather and rain upon a newly created gravel road. Expensive lesson learned in fact.

7 or 8 years ago we cleared property of spruce and alder.. We processed limbs and branches into mulch. Just as you did. We created two VW Beetle area size mounds. It ended up sitting for two winters and one summer. When getting back to the mounds we discovered the mulch full carpenter ants, termites, and weevils. There were also hornets or bees eating the wood. Don't remember which. We had no choice but to burn the two piles. We ended up landscaping with river rock and crushed rocks. No more bugs. So keep an eye on your mulch piles. Good video. 👍👍👍
