Why America's Enemies Still Fear the F-15 Eagle?

For nearly three decades, the F-15 Eagle fighter was considered the undisputed king of the skies. Until the debut of its replacement, the F-22 Raptor, the F-15 was the U.S. Air Force’s frontline air superiority fighter. Even today, a modernized Eagle is still considered a formidable opponent, and manufacturer Boeing has proposed updated versions that could keep the airframe flying for the better part of a century.

with a history of over a hundred kills and zero losses, there are no other aircraft in the world or any in history that can even come close.

The F-15 is still a fine fighter, but the real reason enemies are afraid when they detect an F-15 100 miles away is that there is probably an F-22 about to shoot them in the face any second now.

The F-15 has one of the longest combat kill ratio in history so that's why enemies fear the F-15s

I hope it stays in service for many years to come. A historically superior aircraft.

I worked on the very first F-22 and if you look into the data the F-22 in simulated air battles is 108 wins versus 0 losses against F-15s...In fact in interviews of F-15 pilots who also fly the F-22 they have said they never even saw the F-22 at all

Nellis! <3 Where my heart is. Lovely Eagles perched under canopies keeping the heat off the desert sun from em. Great golf course there!

This channel is my favorite of the robot guy military channels. Voice is annoying, but he gets his facts spot on and is actually very informative.

I know it's an older aircraft, but it's still such a badass aircraft. I proud knowing this aircraft is defending the skies over America.

I grew up in Klamath Falls, just a few miles from Kingsley Field. For years the F-15s of the 173rd Tactical Fighter Training Squadron flew two training missions a day, and I loved to watch them launch and return. Freakin' amazing airplane.

The F-15 has a 9-0 récord against Mig-29. The Su-27-30-34-35 have no récords other than one or two planes they shot down during testing, so it is just an assumption that is good.

The F-15, with all the upgrades that the Air Force has had the wisdom to continually apply to this magnificent machine, in its infancy was the top dog fighting plane. And, today, because of those continued upgrades, it is still the top dog fighting plane and will establish air superiority in a very short time wherever it is deployed. In the hands of a skilled pilot, it will lord over any enemy aircraft it encounters. The F-15 is sleek, fast, extremely maneuverable and can carry large weapons loads. If you have a chance to see one in a dog fight, it's like watching military poetry in extreme motion. It is just AWESOME!

just curious how big are the differences if you will compare the export F15 variants to the F15 american version... is it water level?

America's enemies still fear the F-15 Eagle, because American pilots are trained BETTER than any other Air Force in the world. It's all about training, and we do it BEST.
