Who are the two secret X-Men 97 teams?

According to the producers, two more X-Teams are going to show up in Season 2 of X-Men 97 (or whatever they're calling it). Here are some teams I think we'll see.

Kitty Pryde was definitely on Forge’s board somewhere as Shadowcat, blue mask and everything, so she’s definitely in universe already (I remember cause I got really excited when I saw her)

🤓Nightcrawler was not in that run of X-Force as he was dead at the time. Instead, it was the version of Nightcrawler from Age of Apocalypse who stuck around on 616 to get rid of villains from his timeline that had also snuck over to 616.

Also, Havok and Polaris are confirmed so it’s almost certain we’ll get a 90s X-Factor.

90's Cable lead X-Force and 90's Havok lead X-Factor is my best guess. Makes the most sense for where the team is now.

I would guess the two teams’ roster would be:

1.) Forge’s X-Factor: Havok, Polaris, Strong Guy, Multiple Man (if still alive from Genosha), Quicksilver, Wolfsbane

2.) X-men 2.0: Colossus, Psylocke, Kitty Pryde, Angel (if still alive from Genosha), Iceman then add in surviving Jubilee, Sunspot, and Bishop

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cable will start up his X-force himself with Cannonball, Warpath, Boom-Boom (if still alive from Genosha), Domino, Shatterstar

If remember correctly - Nightcrawler is in the past with X man. We basicly have one team in the past, one in future. Think that those time travel issues would be a huge chunk of the plot in season 2 (at least 3-4 ep) and would not be easy to solve

What we need is - X Man team in the present and we already saw potential members on Forge board (Colossus, Magik, Angel, Polaris, etc). Forge and Bishop would become their leaders and this team would deal with different threats in present (like rise of Apocalypse) in X man absence and try to find a way to get X Man out of the time trap. This team could be called X Force (Bishop could replace Cable as a leader in this one)

My respect for Nando as a nerd went up 1000 fold when I realized how big of a fan of the X comics he was and not just of the movies and cartoons like most “fans”. Yes I am an X elitist.

We actually do have a Kitty in 97, she's on Forge's board of potential X-Men at the end

Think of how the last season ended. Many of the X-Men were sent back in time, but a few were sent into the future. The X-Men in the past are the "official" X-Men team, but the Summers in the future form their own isolated team too. In addition, we'll have the heroes left behind in the present organizing another team of X-Men there. So that could be your three total "X" teams. They don't even necessarily need to use new names like "X Factor" or "X Force, " even while adapting from those stories. Each team might just call themselves "X-Men, " because that's the title of the show.

I agree that X-Factor and X-Force are the two most likely teams we will see because they make the most sense logistically and from where the show left off. BUT, if we are heading closer into the 2000s/Morrison Era, I think that we could also see a version of the X-Treme X-Men in season two. I was actually shocked that you didn't mention them because they are certainly of the time. Other than that, I think that the Exiles is a wild card that we can't put past Marvel/Disney for S2. I feel like X-Factor being Forge, Bishop, Polaris, Havok, Angel, Iceman and then X-Force being a mix of New Mutants and Generation X would work? So like Cable, Jubilee, Sunspot, Magik, Raihne, Emma, etc.

Alternatively, I do think it could be possible the time travel stuff is resolved early and we just see a “New X-Men” team that is splintered teams. Specifically, splitting up Scott and Storm and having two separate teams and maybe having New X-Men/Extreme X-Men vibes? So one extra team before the time travel is resolved, then when they come back, the main team is splintered? Or there’s just so many mutants they split up teams, but all still live together in the mansion?
