I bought a pretty clapped 06 for 4k and already put 2k just in maintenance and it still needs at least 3k to be a reliable daily so do your research and don't buy the first one you come across without a through inspection. Mine is swapped to the earlier de, has a welded diff, interior is stripped out, just lost 5th and 6th gear... be careful, there's a lot of clapped out z's out there. I still love my car, I just could've done better...

my grandpa had two 350z's, 2006 and 2008 in great condition, but he unfortunately crashed both of them (he's still alive and well)

I had an 04 350z Nismo in 6 speed, and i drove it for over 10 years with no issues on oil, but the PCV valve had to be changed out every 30k miles or so bec it would fail and oil would be lost.
Was a great car...
I just bought the 2024 Performance Z in 6-speed and i absolutely love it -- huge step up across the board on performance, and confort. Didn't know you could get the 2 tone black and red leather interiors in them. Girls like the 2 tone.

Got an 05 supercharged Z eaton style. It only had 28k miles on it, got it for 14.5k. It needed new gaskets and the tps wire was loose. 500 dollars in repairs and a new bumper(I had some stretches on the button and it could hold the splash guard.) Good as new. 400hp/394tq and I got a e86 tune. Driven it for 3 years now.

I got an 06 a couple of days ago. Had 145k on body. Owner swapped the engine to one with 50k on it from JDM of Cali and has had several z1 upgrades in the engine. Clean interior and no body damage or rust. Not bad for 7500.

IV got a 370z it looks fast but certainly isn't compared to everything else available now days but it makes noise and handles pretty good

If you can get one stock, then you’re set. Because on one hand, you have a car that’s been taken care of and not abused. On the downside, these cars can get expensive real quick if you want to do it right. I’ve seen $20, 000 worth of parts in a $10, 000 350z enthusiast build, Not even track ready.

a running 350z with some minor bodywork damage will go for 3.5k and you can get a lot of near perfect ones for 5k in england

Long time ago, my dad warned a guy that the engine can’t handle turbos with stock internals. He didn’t listen, and he paid the price.

I got the 09 350z roadster with a 6 speed off of an old lady. Used to be bone stock and low milage lol
