They cling to their traditions and overlook the weighty things of the gospel. They focus on the dill & mint and overlook your goodness and truthfulness!
They saw the glory in the humanity of Your Son and yet they do not recognise the more important things and cling to what is passing away without the everlasting love and the deep affection for Your children.
Deep affection for your children.
Listen to the words of your Saviour according to the Gospel of Matthew:
And so you cancel the word of God for the sake of your own tradition. … Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote,
These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship is a farce,
for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.’
That is not THE WAY!
