Traxxas Mini Maxx unboxing/overview

After months of indecision, it was time to pick up the controversial Mini Maxx from Traxxas! In this non-running video we’ll take it out of the box and have a look at what you get for $249.99.
This is the first video in a series to find the answer long term as to whether or not the Mini Maxx is worth it.
My long term plans to find this answer are coming strictly as a stock setup, 2s lipo powered brushless vehicle.

I love traxxas. Don’t really care what anyone else thinks. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and no judgement from me. I have this one, the black/dark gray one. Love mine. All stock. Have had no problems with it whatsoever. But, I also drive my RC cars like I paid good hard earned money for it, and I’m trying not to break them. As a 2s mini basher this thing is fun.

I just got one last night. At work watching videos just waiting to get to mine. I plan on leaving the power train stock. The other upgrades have me intrigued. This is my first RC car.

The green looks nice, Have to see how it goes and holds up. I like that traxxas jato 4x4 buggy it looks pretty good, only reason why I like traxxas is because you know you can keep it forever and they will always make parts unlike the other big name brands that can stop making RC's after only a few years and leave you dry and high!

Hey Jeremy, I have been looking at the Mini Max the blue color scheme, local hobby store is always out when I go there. Looks like on ok truck to me. I'm not sure what direction I'll go if I get back into it. I've still got four RC's I've never even opened the box to see if they're in there. 🤷‍♂️
