Wilson Duo Soft+ Golf Ball Review

We are coming closer to the end of Wilson balls reviewed. This has been one I have been excited to try though. At 2 dollars per golf ball, can this two-piece offering from Wilson hold up to its wonderful reputation in the weekend warrior community? I dive in and find out!

Yes … this ball is a big win for me.. I have played the Triad balls but ran out, so got these Duo Soft and wow !! I was blown away on how forgiving they were for me from tee to hole ! They are very consistent with excellent trajectory and feel. I too have a 93-95 mph swing speed with my driver, and this ball impressed me with super long drives on holes that I normally don’t hit that long. Wilson made a great ball with this one !

I found an orange duo soft and loved it. Bought a dozen and found them to be straighter and launch higher than my usual srixons. You can certainly feel the "softness" on a well struck ball.

Playing triads in the summer months and duo soft in the off season. You can buy them for 15e for 12 here when in sale. Find it a great ball only thing it lags spin on chip shots.

Going to give these a whirl. Back when I played regularly (and well) I found a similar Wilson and really liked it. Have mostly used a Pro V1x, but as I've got a few rounds coming up I've ordered a dozen of these Wilsons. At under £17 for a dozen there's nothing to lose.

Before I even watch this video I just have to say this is my go to ball. I mostly play persimmons and this ball is perfect for them. Now on to the review. These balls launch high for me and I don't have any problems holding the greens. I actually get good distance with my persimmons and my mid and short irons are maybe a half club longer. Lately with the cost of golf here I've been playing the Wilson Staff Zip just for cost per lost ball budget!

For me. I play a proV1. But if I'm off or playing bad and lose at least two. My back ball is the duo soft+. Always performs and feels good off my irons.

Would be good if you could list all the Wilson balls tested with final thoughts. Wilson need to sort their golf ball range out. You have had some good figures like the Zip, but some very poor figures. Good, honest review as ever.

This would take a while and might be hard to do in Florida but it would be interesting to see if there are balls that perform differently in the summer and winter. If think a hard ball is going to feel very hard and difficult to compress in the winter while a soft ball might get too squishy in the summer.

Thanks for your reviews. Duo Soft; Duo Soft+; Elite 50; ZIP - I'm not sure there's much difference in these golf balls. Perhaps there are, and I'm too much a novice (beginner golfer) to notice them.

Hello there new to the channel just wanted to ask you for a recommendation. I use to play with tigers bridgestone golf ball because i love the soft feel off the putter face but unfortunately off the tee box i didnt have the swing speed for it(i swing it 90 ish at best) was thinking of the bridgestone tour b rs but iv heard there a little firm and not soft..would these wilsons do the trick? Im an 16 handicap and play with a draw biased driver to stop me not hitting right or slice as much..
