How to Teach a Basketball Layup Using Guided Angle 1-on-1

Basketball layup technique is shaped using an ecological approach and Guided Angle 1-on-1.

In this video, we have not taught any layup technique. We have avoided rote learning of a mechanical movement technique including any footwork, arm and hand movements. Instead we encourage discovery and stabilization of shooting possibilities at the basket relative to a defender being present to create alignment between the task demands (shooting at the rim) and the learner's selection of particular perception-action coupling.
