Hi Beth! Been following you for about a year on socials and Youtube. So happy to see that you're now pursuing it full time. Love the realistic videos on your personal channel, keep up the great work! I have been considering vanlife for some years and my biggest hurdle continues to be the anxiety of staying overnight in parking spots, where other people are. Funnily enough, wild tent camping, backpacking and hiking on my own for days I'm fine with but inevitably in a van you may have to stay where other people are, and thus have more chances of a less peaceful night, or worse. I think it also has a lot to do with confidence like you talked about, and practise as well as some good ol' common sense. Glad you talked about lacking confidence in solo travel without Jake, because I think this is a very common thing in relationships, it's good to find ways to build that back by going on some solo adventures every year. That's the way I deal with it anyway :) I'll probably end up doing vanlife despite some fears I have, if not, I would probably not end up doing half the stuff I want to do haha!

I'm noticing a lot of the solo female vanlifers lately. Must be the Gabby Petito influence. A lot of the girls have a dog for company but I guess they think traveling with a guy might be very dangerous. A girl might start getting on a guy's nerves and no telling what he might do.
