In this video, I will go over the upcoming banners of patch 2.1 from Honkai: Star Rail so you can decide which one will be more worth it for your account. I will touch on all 5 star units, Acheron, Aventurine, Jingliu, and Luocha, their strengths and weaknesses, and also, in the case of Jingliu and Luocha, what has changed for them since their initial banners in terms of builds, teams, and power level. I also go over the 4 star units, Gallagher, Pela, Dang Heng, Lynx, Luka, and Serval, which will be available in both halves of the patch in the same manner. I'll be honest, considering how strong Acheron is as a dps, even if Jingliu might be the better choice unless you got the lightone, what sways me over to Acheron are her QOL features outside combat, and the freshness of her gameplay and style . i'm set on Acheron, hoping for the 50/50 . And then i'll try pulling for Adventurine

my plan was to pull just on Aventurine banner but they put Gallagher in the 1st half </3 so i'll try to get him from Acheron banner (cause i already have Luocha) (and i know we can get him later on from the event but i want to pick Misha)

I need Adventurine as my preservation unit for my follow up team. I've even contemplated putting March in the mix with him, because everytime he's attacked he gets a stack for more follow ups. Then March does follow up. My potential team is: Topaz, Dr.Ratio, March, and Adventurine. I'm thinking it'll be follow up madness. (Sadly I don't have Clara, would have liked her as well). I could always utilize my Himeko or Herta as well, but Himeko isn't as consistent because you need break. Also considered just rocking my e1 bronya as a substitute to march, to advance Ratio or Topaz to just prioritize their follow up potential.

I also want Acheron for later investment. I don't have a hard hitting DPS (Other than topaz and Ratio) and I'm not wanting Jingliu anymore cause she refused to come home last time and I'm petty lol. I also have my Welt I'd love to utilize and as a Nihility character I'd love to incorporate him in a team with Acheron and have my Fu as the tank on that team. The third unit would then be either Pela, which would seem like the obvious pick, or Sampo. The only reason I'm considering Sampo over Pela is from a lack of light cones, I have the one though that buffs wind and electric damage on Nihility characters. (This way I'd meet the requirements for 2 nihility units)

Ultimately I just want to create two solid teams for MoC and etc for more rewards and jades. I'm F2P and haven't put too much investment into the game. I've got 70 pity, lost the last 50/50 on new unit banner, and 70 tickets. On the LC banner I'm at 40 Pity, so I'm hoping I get the Acheron early then win the 70/30 on the light cone.

Making a decision is so difficult this time around... I'm not interested in any of the 4 stars & Acheron seems like too big of an investment for what I'd get in return. Jingliu would be nice to have but not necessary. So I'm probably gonna skip them all together to save up for Firefly in 2.2.

I've just recently built two out of three 5* dpses that I currently have, so now I'm gunning for sustainers like Luocha and Aventurine. If I get lucky, I can have Luocha, if not, I built enough pity to get Aventurine. Aventurine is definitely a must pull for me tho.

Yeah I don't need a new sustain, I don't want Acheron, and I want Jingliu. Eidolons for Lynx and Luka eidolons might be good as well, Lynx is my main healer and Luka is on my DoT team. Saving for next banner.

Already have e0s1 Jingliu, Huohuo, and Lynx. Cause of that and because waifu, I'm shooting for e0s1 Acheron. Anything I can spare will go to getting eidolons for Jingliu, Lynx, and Serval. There's too much good stuff for me between these two banners 😭

at first i only look at aventurine so he can replace gepard in my topaz & ratio team (my 5* sustain is only fu xuan and gepard, fu xuan is on the mono quantum team) but now i wonder if i really have to replace gepard, yea sure aventurine will be much better but everyone seems overhyping acheron which made me think again... maybe i should just pull acheron and swap out qingque from mono quantum team (fu xuan, sparkle, silver wolf)

I know Acheron is a Mei and that alone is gonna future proof her but I recently started to build my Dr Ratio.
How good aventurine is gonna be for Ratio?

already got jingliu and luocha when they first drop so no need to consider + i aint need shields so ACHERON LES legit came back after 5 months of break and it took me 6 days to get 0 to 100 pulls after doing everything xd
