Passport Mistakes: Part 2! (Plus a Passport HACK!)

Most countries require you to have at least 2 to 4 stamp-free pages in your passport in order to travel.

I know I have pages wasted on that one rogue stamp thrown in there all willy nilly.

Help keep your stamps where they belong by using a paper clip or rubber band to separate your stamp-free passport pages from your stamped pages.

I've noticed that almost every custom officer will have a look at the front and back before proceeding to stamp it. What does work 50-50 is just using your boarding pass as a bookmark on the page you want them to stamp.

I don’t think is a good idea cause maybe the agent will think we are hiding some stamp or any suspicious visas or stamps and will not be fun to spent a hard time at the airport. The best way is to ask nicely to the officer if they can stamp the passport in the side of the passport and not in the middle. As well some countries use to stamp the passport starting from the back others on the middle pages even some agents like to stamp the middle one, it depends on the agent, country, and how crowded is the line.

Just politely beg them to help u manage your passport and show them used page. It works for me.

My passport expires in a few years. I decided to start using it about a year ago. My goal was to get all my pages stamped. Well, that's not working out so well. Customs from the countries I have visited have not been using new pages, or they just don't stamp at all. 😎

not a good idea imo. It will look suspicious to most customs agents and they will remove everything to verify you are not hiding anything.
