I live halfway across the country in Manitoba and have ordered a few times from April's. Their packaging is top notch, and so so fast. Nothing but high praise from me. So glad I got to experience the store through this video, till the day I can go visit in person.

April's is a weekly stop for me. They have a massive selection of interesting and super healthy fish, very knowledgeable staff, and are the only spot I've found that carry the fish that interest me.

My interests focus on apistogramma, which, when you can find them tend toward the same few tank bred species. In the past 6 months April's has secured at least 8 apisto species I've never encountered outside of books or the Internet, including wild caught specimens. This in addition to the more common types. Couldn't ask for more.

I can't recommend April's enough if you're in the Vancouver area, or within their shipping range.

I'm late to the video, but this was absolutely wonderful! It's easy to speak positively about April's Aquarium. The customer service is incredible. It doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or an advanced fish keeper they got you!

I plan to upgrade some sponge filters to the Aquarium Co-op ones, which I'm excited about. I want to see how much better the heat will distribute with the better flow, especially since the temperature here has dipped below zero.

They're the only place that sells little bags of crushed coral too. So helpful, since it's a lot harder to source than you think! My shrimps and snails are grateful for it. Also, FREE local delivery...that's unheard of these days. They can also ship livestock Canada-wide! To see how much this store has evolved is incredible. Definitely support this business if you're Canadian. These type of stores keep the hobby alive :)

Top notch store. I stop in at least a few times a month. Livestock always looks well maintained and cared for. Staff is friendly and knowledgable!

Me and my family absolutely love this place, have to stop in everytime we head to Vancouver. The people who work there and run it are awesome and have gone above and beyond every time I come in making sure I get what im looking for and help to ensure they would survive the 3-4hr trip home haha. The aquarium coop products brought me in, then I seen the amazing fish and how healthy they always are. I personally have never been to a store so dedicated with people who do aquariums right. super happy to have both in Canada 🇨🇦. love they ship as well.

Darrin and the team put alot of hardwork in april aquarium store. You see them grow everytime you go there. I love that they are stock with alot of aquascape wood, plant and aquarium co op sponge filter, aquarium co op fry food and point system I watch your youtube channel when I start and was so glad they carry aquarium co op when I started my hobby back in Sept 2022. They are the most modern, well stock aquarium shop in town.

I live in Victoria, and this is m local fish store! They deliver to Vancouver Island regularly, and their fish and plants are so healthy! I am a high school teacher, and April’s has been supporting my aquarium club. I now have over 20 students in my club. Aprils hosted us for a day trip to the store. Amazing store and staff. I am so grateful for them and their support!

I live in Burnaby about 20 minutes away from this fish store. This is the only fish store I will go to, these guys are fantastic!
