You have to be so watchful when children are at the pool. When my son was almost 2, my daughter and I were at a baby pool. I looked away and suddenly, my daughter screamed that her brother was under the water! I pulled him out and he was o.k. I made sure that he took swimming lessons as soon as he could, but I never took my eyes off of either of my children in the pool after that.

I don't feel bad for these people. Why continue to build in a storm surge area? Texas is a massive state and yet they choose to build their homes where this happens literally every year. Then they cry because insurance won't cover their homes. It's a waste of money. It's like they're complaining and want help. The help is don't build your home in a flood/storm surge area even on stilts. This is just the beginning. Texas to Florida people live on the coast and cry every year when this happens.
