This is an instant buy for me. Haven't got the old version and wasn't going to spend upwards of £60 for him when he was underwhelming to begin with. His cane looks like it actually touches the ground this time, his face is miles better and has THREE, he's got his lightning hands and to top it all off he comes with his throne.

Glad i didn't buy the old version. This is going to be perfect with a couple of royal guards and a new hope vader. All we need now is rotj luke and the scene is complete.

The Hot Toys deluxe Emperor has the same issue with the feet not touching the floor all the way. It's looks like he is in a high chair. LOL But overall the figure looks good.

Looks awesome. And I really like the swappable heads/hands. Why they went away from that in the first place I'll never know? I'm hoping it's $39, as it'll be the same price in £, so I'd rather pay £39 than £49!

he doesn't fit in the Hot Toys chair either LOl. I put the stand/base he comes with under his feet and it works fine.
