So what was the diagnosis? The discharges look similar to PLEDs to me, they were lateralised and kinda periodic. Is it some form of encephalitis?
Thanks by the way! Great video as always!

I have a daughter with very rear genetic metabolically syndrome (proline dehydrogenase deficiency) and cortical dysplasia ( Type 2- Taylor's cortical dysplasia ) occipital-temporal region and many EEGs including long term video eeg. Some of them with cach seizures. She has medical refractory epilepsy and mild to moderate mental retardation, also behavioral disorder. The doctors explained the seizures with cortical dysplasia but the last 2 MRI show a multiple gliosis in white matter and subcortical in frontal lobe. Her condition worsened since 2 years and she starts having a convulsive seizures, also she has a myoclonic seizures, atypical absence seizure and atonic seizures.
Here convulsive seizures at the beginning was not typical grand mal seizure and was classified as focal seizure with secondary generalization. She also had 1 nonconvulsive status epilepticus proven with eeg.
Is there a way a can share you some of her eeg and MRI. ❤
P.S. I watched your channel from a long time, it's very useful, thanks for sharing. 🤗👍
